ANTERIOR POSTERIOR TIBIAL TRANSLATION
Join us as we look at the anterior posterior tibial translation. This section will show the AP curve and discuss how this stresses the ACL.
ACL REVIEW
Our objective was to utilize the KneeKG data to optimize his treatment and allow him to return to sport. Restoring lower limb biomechanics allows us to mitigate the risk factors that may be associated with reinjury and improve knee health in the long term.
We saw with our biomechanical marker’s report that he had adopted a protective and compensatory gait pattern as a result of his torn ACL and was still using that compensatory pattern post-op.
Being able to target his deficient loading/absorption strategy and pivot shift avoidance gait allowed us to provide targeted therapeutic exercises to help reduce his knee pain.
